Still, there is only two weeks away, for the WWDC 2018 event, the unveiling of iOS 12 is getting closer. As far as rumours are concerned, this year is relatively quiet, which fits in well with the story that Apple is taking a step back in 2018 regarding software updates. Instead, the company focuses on improving stability, resulting in fewer bugs and a more secure system.
A new concept shows how Apple can make the notifications on your iPhone a lot clearer with relatively small adjustments. The images show how the message screen has been given a subtle new design, where notifications are sorted by an app.
In addition, the concept makes the clock a lot smaller and moves it to the top left corner of your screen. In addition, a small widget is visible that shows the weather forecast. All this info is visible at the top of the screen, leaving more room for showing new messages.
The grouped notifications can be opened separately by pressing firmly with 3D Touch. The Messages app then shows a number of automatically generated responses, so you can quickly hear from you if you do not have time. An app like Twitter gets a larger field to show more information.
No more chronological
Another important change has to do with the order in which your notifications appear. Now the most recent message is always at the top, while this is often not the most relevant. The concept, therefore, proposes a new feature that puts the apps at the top that you use the most, just as Siri now proposes apps to you. This option can simply be turned off in the settings.
