Pages, Keynote and Numbers have received a new update in the last hours in their versions of iOS and macOS. Apple has updated its office suite with new features and changes to improve the software. This new update brings some common changes in the three apps and the two platforms, although others focus on each app specifically.
The most important changes of Pages, Numbers and Keynote
While it is true that it is a minor update, we see a series of remarkable changes in these new versions. Updates are now available in the AppStore and the Mac App Store.
Pages
In the version of Pages for iOS we can now record and edit audio directly in a document, add a colour background to documents and support for LaTeX or MathML formats among other novelties. In macOS, support for LaTeX or MathML formats is also added and the columns and bars of the graphics are improved.
Numbers
Apple adds the option to record and edit audio in spreadsheets, more compatibility with Apple Pencil and the ability to add gradient and image fills in text boxes. In the version for macOS, compatibility with Excel is improved. In both versions, support for LaTeX or MathML formats is offered.
Keynote
In iOS, we already have master slides and the possibility of exporting a presentation as a video. As in the previous two apps, support is added for LaTeX or MathML formats and the ability to record and edit audio directly in the documents. In macOS, compatibility with PowerPoint is improved.
Remember that you can always download the three applications for free in both iOS and macOS. Little by little, the iWork suite has become a more than adequate alternative for Apple users who do not need Microsoft Office.
