The images that were officially shared by Apple are part of the group of emojis that were previously approved by the Unicode Consortium, an entity in charge of approving which emojis come to light.

According to the official statement from Apple, this year, more than 70 new emoji will arrive in the iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Mac as a software update. The new designs, based on the characters approved in Unicode 11.0, include even more hair options that, according to the Cupertino signature, serve to better represent people with red hair or greying or curly hair and even to represent those who they do not have hair.

The best thing is that the news will not only reach the emojis of people, but the update also brings new animals to the catalogue, among which are a kangaroo, a peacock, a parrot and a lobster. In addition, new emojis will also come to the food section, where we will see mango, lettuce, cupcake or mooncake.

"This year many more sports characters, symbols and other categories will be released, such as a new superhero, a softball, a Nazar amulet and the infinity symbol," says Apple.

At the moment we do not know the exact date on which the new emojis will be launched on the market, but it is expected that this will happen before the end of 2018.
