The first iPhone of 2018 dummies appears on leaked photos. These test models give us a nice preview of what we can expect in September.

iPhone 2018 dummies show the new design
Today Benjamin Geskin and SlashLeaks publish a series of photos showing alleged iPhone 2018 dummies. These leaked test models confirm especially the rumours that we have heard in the months to the release more often.
For example, on the cheaper 6.1 inch LCD iPhone, we see a single camera lens in the style of the iPhone 8, and the iPhone X Plus is mainly a larger version of the iPhone X with the same kind of camera. This would mean that the first iPhone with a triple lens on the back does not arrive until 2019 at the earliest.

It also shows how the cheaper iPhone has an aluminium frame and the more expensive X Plus has a stainless steel rim. To further reduce costs, the screen edges of the 6.1-inch iPhone 2018 are slightly larger than those of the iPhone X Plus, which has the difference between OLED and LCD.
These dummies probably originate from a source involved in the production of the new devices, based on leaked schematic drawings. Benjamin Geskin has been a familiar name since last year when it comes to Apple rumours.
The iPhone season is almost starting
The iPhone season has almost arrived in August. This year, Apple is also expecting three new iPhones in September: the cheaper iPhone 2018, iPhone X 2018 and iPhone X Plus.
According to the latest rumours, the 6.1-inch model would be postponed for several months due to production problems, although it is still too early to be able to say anything with certainty about it.
